
Ralph Manning is a founding partner of Progress Equity Partners, Ltd. and has over twelve years of financial and investment management experience. Prior to forming Progress Equity, Mr. Manning was an investment partner in Transition Capital Partners, Ltd. making leveraged buyouts of middle market operating companies. Previously, Mr. Manning was an associate in the private investment firm of Rice Sangalis Toole & Wilson, ("RSTW"). RSTW invested over $850 million in a variety of subordinated debt and equity structures primarily in middle market transactions involving recapitalizations, strategic acquisitions, internal growth financings and leveraged buyouts.
Mr. Manning received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1992 from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth Texas and in 1991 completed a summer study abroad at Oxford University in Oxford, England and continental Europe studying the integration of the European Economic Community. He earned a Graduate Finance Certificate in 1994 from the Cox School at Southern Methodist University in Dallas Texas and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Mr. Manning serves as Chairman of the Board of Holdaway Medical Holdings, Inc. and is also on the board of directors of D&S Residential Services, LP, Oncology Molecular Imaging, LLC and is an advisory director and acting Chief Financial Officer of Premise Media Holdings, LP. Outside directorships include Chairman of the Board of St Jude’s Ranch for Children, Inc., a non profit provider of residential therapeutic foster home services for abused, abandoned and neglected children.
